RAC Mechanical, Inc. was founded in 1973 by three colleagues who wanted to use their many years of experience to provide outstanding heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration system design, installation, and service to customers in the five boroughs of New York City, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester.

Over the last 50 years, the business has grown to include some two hundred customers, from large corporate chains such as King Kullen, Key Food, and ShopRite to smaller independents such as Scaturro & Sons, Park Slope Food Coop, Perelandra Natural Foods, and Citarella Foods.
 

Though specializing in supermarket refrigeration and air conditioning, we also have provided various services to offices, retail stores, banks, churches, hotels, and private residences.
 

RAC Mechanical, Inc. is on the cutting edge of refrigeration and HVAC technology.  We have worked on research and development projects with Brooklyn Union Gas and Keyspan for gas fired refrigeration and air conditioning.  We have done extensive work with energy management companies, even sending our mechanics to schools across the country for up to date education and training.

While keeping abreast of new technology, we have not forgotten the time-tested systems that built the foundation of today’s modern refrigeration and HVAC systems.
